What has now become a firmly established evening in the calendar, we celebrate the end of the playing season with our Beer, Prosecco and Cheese Evening.
Now in its 3rd Year, all players and friends meet at the Club where 3 barrels of beer will be available for consumption at special prices. I’m sure there will be a Prosecco promotion as well. Players from all teams can unwind and share tales of derring do whilst sampling the ales on offer. Entry is completely free as usual but certainly the gentleman will be expected to bring with them a Cheese for consumption later in the evening, the more unusual the better. Cheese dining usually begins when our very own Grand Fromage Mr Freeman gives the nod. Crackers, celery and chutney always welcome.
This year we are combining the Beer Evening with a fundraiser for Cransley Hospice so we will have some other guests for the bacchanalian evening so let’s get as many KHC players and friends there as possible. It is the last round of matches for the gents (the Ladies do still have one week left). Cransley are also providing some entertainment during the evening so put the date in your diaries. Its always a great night from what I can remember, which to be fair, isn’t usually much of it!!
