Kettering Hockey Clubs two nominated charities were both present at the Awards dinner to collect cheques from the Club.
This year we have supported Johnnys Happy Place and Wren Spinney Special School who both receive a proportion of our fundraising plus any extra specials like Jan's half marathon and Telf's head shave.

Johnny's mum gave a moving speech about why the charity was set up and how any funds are used. Wren Spinney staff gave a brief overview of their work with their children.

As a club we have overwhelmingly exceeded our initial expectations and each charity received a £601.04 cheque and an extra £200 raised on the night from Telf having her head shaved.

We have set the bar quite high so back to work.
