Following a head injury at the weekend we recommend all players read the attached document on concussion.

Hockey is in general a very safe game but every now and again we have players who get injured. Usually these are muscle pulls, cuts and bruises and the occasional broken bone.
Last weekend one of our players suffered a nasty head injury after being hit with the ball. As such Kettering HC recommend that all players, coaches etc read the attached Pocket Guide to Concussion. It outlines the signs to look out for.

Each team is provided with face masks to defend short corners and it is up to individual players about whether they choose to wear them.
