Sunday saw Kettering’s goalkeepers treated to a coaching session with ex Scotland goalkeeper and National League coach Jamie Cachia.
Jamie worked his sessions around the needs of the individual keepers and is an advocate of good technique being the key to success. Jamie showed the keepers some great drills that they will be able to work on themselves and also had a great coaching style. All the keepers enjoyed the session and hopefully the tips they gained will help them in games. All involved hope to have Jamie back in the future.
This is further investment by the Club in improving areas that often get left out. Before next season we hope to run a coach education evening so our Coaching staff are up to speed with the latest coaching methods. The coaching this year appears to be having a positive impact on the pitch and the Club want to make that experience even better.
