Running what is now a fairly big operation like Kettering Hockey Club takes a bit of personpower. We still have a few key committee positions still need filling.

We need:-
Umpires Secretary - if you can use a spreadsheet you can do this, its just about getting people to umpire our home (and some away). You will need to liaise with oppo clubs sometimes to arrange if we, or they, provide two umpires. We supply all the relevant info about who umpires what. You just send out a weekly "who's doing what" sheet. Its a really important job folks.

Mens and Ladies Fixtures Secretary - with everyone playing so many league games this only involves arranging a handful of fixtures for each team. Captains are great at saying who they want to play. You will need to liaise with Nathan T, our pitch booker, to make sure we don't have eight teams at home!!!

Social Secs - one female on male required. Social stuff was brilliant last year. Lets make it brilliant again. The operations Committee, with you on it, decide what events then its just a question of sorting out.

Fundraising - we have to keep raining money to keep afloat and also get the good stuff like dugout covers and make our charity contributions. If your good at procuring sponsorship we want to hear from you.

Yes it will take a bit of your time but lots of people do plenty to help your game go ahead on Saturday. Let's share the load to make it easier for everyone. The Club is in great shape but needs to keep moving forward. If you are interested contact a committee person.
