In the Over 65 tournament , Midlands came third but would have been top if we could have drawn our match with the South . Superb standard throughout and highly completive – Toby came along on the Sat and couldn’t believe it was a bunch of 65 -69 year old blokes running round . First match v North we were 2-0 down at HT and that is how the score finished up – we didn’t play well really, I came on second half in that game and played the other three full matches . The afternoon game v the strong East side resulted in an excellent 2-1 win for us in a very very tough game – they were gutted !! . Sunday morning and up against the South in another tough and very tight game we just missed out – going down 1-0 , The final game against the pre tournament favourites West of England and we came out 2-1 winners .Three and a half full games at centre back over a weekend and my body is still reminding me of that !!!

Well done Tony and with Bill's over 80s game getting lots of recognition you have plenty of years left in the tank!!!
