Kettering make the long journey down to Kent to play Marden Russetts in the EH Over 50 Cup semi Final. Kettering will be selecting from a full squad of 12 for the fixture. Marden run three Saturday sides so it looks like a team of all comers will take on Kettering. Marden have two astroturf pitches in the commuter belt village and run a well respected junior set up.
Only seventy minutes away from the final it seems that Kettering's hope of a run out at Lee Valley have been dashed with news breaking that the final has been moved to Birmingham University on 28th April. This is still to be confirmed although it is on the umpiring allocation sheet.
The other semi sees a heavyweight clash between Timperley and Taunton Vale.
