Kettering 2nds got back to winning ways in a hard fought match with a strong Wildcatz team. Kettering took the lead after a period of sustained pressure with Isabel Ringrose getting the final touch. Kettering continued to push forward with a number of strong runs down the right hand side from Louise Martin and it was Martin who got the second to double Kettering's lead. Wildcatz were never going to give in easily and before half time came back with a finely taken short corner routine. The second half saw Wildcatz's continue where they had left off and got a equaliser with a second short corner. Kettering had to dig deep and were rewarded when Helen Keyworth fired home. Kettering continued to attack but as time slipped away decided enough was done and ensured the final minutes were played out with the result staying as it was. Kettering have a much needed rest from league action next week and return against Olney on Saturday 27th February,
