Kettering 2nds made hard work of beating bottom of the table Olney. The game started with Olney very much the better team with Kettering's GK Amy March called into action as Olney pressured in the first part of the match. Eventually the deadlock was broken with Kirsty Smith finishing after a defence splitting ball by Jill Livingstone. Shez Coe soon doubled the lead with a shot across the keeper to the far side of the goal. Smith then got her second before half time. The result was never in doubt but Kettering took until midway through the second half for Smith to complete her hat trick. Olney never gave up and March was called into action again late on before Isabel Ringrose fired home from the top of the D to complete the score line with the best goal of the game.
