Kettering dug deep in the second half to get a well earned draw away at Northampton Saints. Kettering started well with good defending from mother and daughter Louise Storey and Emma Storey and soon created some good opportunities down the right with Isabel Ringrose combining well with Ellie Darnell. Kettering eventually broke the deadlock when Shez Coe fired home after a Ringrose shot was deflected out to her on the edge of the D. Saints continued to press and were rewarded before half time with an equaliser from a short corner. The second half saw Kettering begin the stronger and Kirsty Smith came close on a couple of occasions, however it was Saints who grew into the game and Kettering's defence had to stand firm in the final 15 minutes. Keeper Amy March had to make a number of fine saves and Chris Rowland-Jones, Sophie Smart and Sue Russell dug deep to ensure that Kettering kept the draw. Kettering take a break from league action for two weeks.
