Kettering Ladies 2nds returned to winning ways with an excellent all round team performance. Kettering though had to come from behind after Earls Barton broke and caught the Kettering defence focussed on other things!. However Kettering were determined it was going to be their day and Michelle Tanser set the ball rolling with a fine strike from the edge of the D to equal the scores. Kirsty Smith then got her 30th goal of the season to give Kettering the lead at half time. The second half saw Kettering dominate with Lexi Webb and man of the match Isabel Ringrose work tirelessly in midfield. Kettering increased their lead when Shez Coe scored from a short corner breakdown and then Ellie Darnell capped a fine performance when she slotted home after some fine interplay with Smith. Tanser put the icing on the cake with her second and Kettering's 5th. A great team effort and a deserved win. Kettering host Grammarians next Saturday in their final game of the season.
