Kettering Ladies 2nds put on an impressive display in their third warm-up game before the league season begins. Playing on the new pitch at Bishop Stopford School they controlled the game and fired home six goals without reply by Earls Barton. Kettering played a new formation which allowed Harriet Drake- Lee as right back to push forward to support Ellie Darnell and Harriet Goswell to create chance after chance with Darnell getting on the score sheet twice. Last years top scorer, Kirsty Smith, was also on hand to open her account with two goals of her own. Michelle Tanser and Shez Coe supported with a goal each, both strikes from the edge of the D. Kettering looked free flowing and comfortable in their new system. Kettering play Wildcatz at 1.00pm at Bishop Stopford School in their final warm-up game next Saturday.
