Kettering hosted high scoring Repton at Bishop Stopford School. Repton who have been winning with double figure scores arrived with a confidence high. The first half saw Kettering fight hard to every ball with Michelle Tanser controlling the defence and Kate Metcalfe in goal commanding her area. Repton did manage to find the back of the net once during the half but Ketteting were also able to mount a few attacks of their own with Lucie Freeman, Ola Bendarcyzk and Becky Richardson getting forward. The second half saw Repton up the pace and despite Kettering working hard defensively they scored four more to make the final score 5-0. Kettering were pleased with their performance and compared to other teams results against Repton were happy with the final score. Kettering travel for an early, 10.00am start, to Belper on Saturday.
