Kettering 3s 6 - Oundle 2s 1

With going into the game knowing we couldn't change our position in the league. Kettering 3s played with no pressure and just went to have fun and end the season with a good game.
It was certainly no easy game though, Oundle brought it to us and on a couple of occasions caught Kettering off guard and made a few runs with a chance at goal. Fortunately for Kettering none of the shots paid off in the first half. Kettering made a few determine attacking runs with some fantastic team play but unfortunately were unable to finish them off with a goal due to Oundle defence and saves from the goalie. Eventually Kettering's efforts paid off and we managed to get a ball in the back of the net. That was the changing point then for Kettering and things just got better and better. Martha Ross, Ellie Darnell, Sam Bedford and Caitlin Curran were all determined and wanted to get a goal in the last game. Martha Ross and Sandra Mandzuik unfortunately had several chances at goal but just couldn't find a way to get it through but both played big parts in assisting the others with there goals.
There is so much to say about this game but it was just a really good game with a good opposition.
The team just played really well and played as one, fantastic end to the season.
