Another win for ladies 3s pressure mounting.

Another game and another win, with  second half performance that was sensational.

Kettering started off well in the first half opening the scoring with perfect pass into the D from Sienna McNeil for Ellie Peachment to open the teams score card.

Oundle were not to be outdone and fired back with a run away goal which took the whole team by surprise. Not to be behind Ellie Peachmen ran straight back at Oundle and Kettering were once more in the lead.

Oundle forged ahead and after a long spell in and out of the Kettering D were fortunate to gain another goal. Once again Peachman was not content with the score line and drove almost the length of the pitch to find the back of the net for a third time.
Half time score 3-2 in Kettering's favour.

The second half was perfect, with a 5 goal thriller.  The pressure was by no means all at the Oundle end of the pitch and they pushed the Kettering team all the way to the final whistle.

Harriet Drake-Lee was tenacious all game and scored a cracking goal  early in the second half to double the Kettering lead.
Oundle defended well with several short corners awarded in Kettering favour. One corner saw the  initial shot from a short  being defended well by oundle but  Claire Jones was there on the rebound to push it under the goalies foot.

Beth Hardy scored a goal from a short corner to make the score 7-2. To top off a great half Sienna McNiel scored a fantastic goal across the face of the goal, hitting the side netting, Final score 8-2 in favour of Kettering.

Each and every member of the team played well form the cajoling comments of keeper Anna Pringle to the well placed central players of Sandra Mandzuik and Natalie Ions. All helped on my the injured co-captain Laura Newlyn.

Ellie Peachment doubled  her score from last week with 4 goals in the game. A performance that gained her  the deserving man of the match trophy.

For the third week running Claire Jones gained doof of the day.
