A solid team performance allowed Kettering 3rds go back to winning ways with a great effort over a valiant Kettering 4th side.
The game opened up strong with attack from the forwards pairs of Ellie Peachment and Caitlin Curran, Sam Bedford and Elana Freedman. This was quickly actioned great midfield effort of Natalie Irons and Sandra Mandzuik working to pass the ball on to gain other attempts on goal. Winger Harriet Drake strode into the D to score a tight angled goal, she followed this up with a great pass which allowed Curran to defect a shot minuets later.
The opposition were not to be shaken and made some excellent runs down the pitch which called in goalkeeper,Natalie Brinkman, into play. Brinkman was a able to see off any shots on goal with some excellent footwork.
