Kettering Ladies Over 45’s played their final friendly game before they take part in the Englamd Hockey cup competition. Kettering found it difficult to get any rhythm going in their passing and it was Bedford who took the lead early in the first half. Kettering responded well with Kirsty Smith equalling the score and then Linzi Webster giving Kettering the lead. Kettering allowed Bedford back into game with poor passing that was easily picked off and not clearing the ball well enough which eventually resulted in Bedford scoring to make it 2-2 at half time. The second half followed a similar format with Kettering scoring twice through Smith and Shez Coe but on each occasion allowing Bedford to equalise. The final 4-4 scoreline reflected the mistakes that Kettering as a team need to iron out before next weeks cup game v Norwich Dragons.
