Kettering entered 2 teams of 6 into Market Harborough's 7 a side tournament as they felt that having 1 less player on the pitch allowing all Kettering players to play was more important than having 5 subs, reducing peoples pitch time. This meant that everyone on both teams had lots of running to do but they did not disappoint. Haydn Young shows some lovely skills and desire with his lovely runs up the pitch. Both Megan Barber and Tom Smith worked brilliantly in defence to break down the opposition whilst Howie Jackson and Finlay Mullens tracked down the opposition brilliantly winning some great tackles. Rebecca Brooking played really well in midfield creating many good passes. The other Kettering team also played fantastically with Owen Berrett and Joe Campbell holding together the defence. Wiloughby Easterway, Amrita Johal and Isaac Kean played brilliantly in midfield getting stuck in to many tackles and creating some attacking play. Layla Perkins played as a forward and came so close too many times to a goal but it unfortunately didn't quiet sneak in.
Goals- Joe Campbell (3), Haydn Young (2), Finlay Mullens (1) .... So proud of you all!
