Improvement and goals!!!!!

With Market Harborough and Towcester pulling out of the tournament it left Kettering, Corby and Wellingborough to play in a round robin in which they did twice over. In the first game Kettering played Corby and being the first game Kettering struggled to wake up and switch on, therefore unfortunately losing 4-0. However this soon changed as after a chat they came back fighting beating Wellingborough 4-1 with goals from Jude Mitchell and Isaac Kean. This winning streak continued as they faced Corby for the second time. The arrival of Haydn Young gave Kettering an extra edge as with him he brought goals. Jude Mitchell also scored more along with Isaac Kean again. This lead to another 4-1 win. In the final game it was clear Wellingborough had improved and Kettering began to tire however they still got the job done and came away with a 2-1 win with goals from Jude Mitchell. Well done to Saffy Bass and Joe Campbell who helped out wellingborough when they were short of a player, also playing brilliantly. Additionally well done to Megan Barber, Nia Wiggins, Finlay Mullins and Layla Perkins who played brilliantly throughout ensuring those wins.
