Kettering produce another all action display to knock Saints for seven but kept their hosts interested by being quite generous at the back and missed a few chances up front. The game was always under Kettering's control as their quicker passing and thinking eased them into an early two goal lead. Kettering then took their foot off the gas and allowed Saints to equalise. Three more quick goals before half time saw the game effectively over. Saints worked hard in the second half but could only share four goal as Kettering poured forward but couldn't apply the clinical finish to really put Saints to the sword. Goals were shared around with a Mark Hawkins grabbing a hat trick, Grant Carlin a brace and efforts by Jack Bridges and Ross Mathieson. Another terrific result and next week Kettering travel to Market Harborough looking for their fourth straight win in their last friendly before league action commences.
