Unbeaten run continues

Kettering completed their pre season with a narrow win against local rivals Market Harborough.
Harborough opened the scoring with a good passing move and cool finish but Kettering equalised when Grant Carlin's goal bound shot was illegally stopped. Paul Donnelly converted the resulting penalty stroke. Harborough scored again almost immediately when a great through ball was lifted into the goal.
The second half saw Kettering take the lead as Dom Cusk equalised then Carlin buried a short corner. With two minutes to go confusion in the visitors ranks saw Harborough equalise but Kettering roared up the other end and with time running out fantastic play from a Matt Marriott set up Carlin who made no mistake from close range.
Kettering have been pleased with an unbeaten pre season and are still bedding in new players.
Next week sees the start if league action with Leadenham the visitors. 1430 start at Bishop Stopford. All support welcome.
