Kettering 0-2 Leicester Westleigh

Kettering put up a solid performance against leaders Leicester Westleigh but in the end succumbed to a 2-0 defeat. Westleigh had plenty of possession but were repeller by a solid rearguard action led by Graham Smart and Paul Donnelly. Keeper Barry Coe was in fine form throughout making a string of fine saves. Kettering were eventually breached in the 22nd minute when a deflection led to a far post tap in. Westleigh effectively wrapped up the time with a goal in the first minute of the second half. Kettering tried an aerial bombardment but could find no way through Westleighs rearguard. Again Kettering can take some positives from their performance but need to start putting performances into results. Kettering have a week off next week.
