An improved second half performance could not make amends for a lacklustre first as Kettering fell to another defeat. Although they struggled to put any meaningful play together in the first half and fell behind as slack marking twice left players free in the D. Mark Hawkins created a number of chances but was unable to convert. Adan Duell worked tirelessly to deny Ramgarhia's sentre forward any meaningful chances and Neil Freeman was on hand to comfortable save a short corner on the line. The second half saw Kettering grab hold of the game and they eventually struck through a Ben Mills penalty stroke after Dom Cusk's shot was illegally blocked. Kettering gained a short corner that was played out after the final whistle but they could not convert it to get the draw.
Next week Kettering finish their league campaign with a home game against local rivals Oundle.
