[[/b]Kettering were far too clinical for St Neots as they recorded a debut win in 4NW.
The early honours were shared and St Neots hit the outside of the post to wake the hosts. New boy Grant Carlin rifled home a short corner and then a foul on the line saw Lewis Pywell score from the spot. Carlin added his second to give the history a commanding 3-0 lead. A minute into the first half and Mark Hawkins made it four. St Neots score when a defensive mix up saw a forward free five yards out but Kettering were not to be denied. Carlin completed his hat trick with what may become a trademark drag flick. St Neots scored again to make it 5-2 but skipper Ant Paton made it 6 with a cool finish and Hawkins converted a switch short corner to complete the seven. Plenty to work on for Kettering in only their second game of the season next week Kettering travel to Cambridge.
