Kettering hope to extend their unbeaten start to the season when they travel to Ely. Ely kicked off with a 4-2 defeat at March. Ely look like they are in a period of restructuring as their 2s and 3s are both in 6NW so as a club we will be seeing a lot of Ely. The club are also trying to fundraiser for a new pitch. As we know that's a lot of burgers and hot dogs so best of luck with that one.
Ely is built on an island in the Fens and is the highest point so in East Anglian terms we will be playing at altitude. A place of worship and learning Ely, with its cathedral, has long been a city but this was formally granted in 1974. Will the city slickers have enough for the KTown massive. 13.30 start for any travelling fans!
