A visit to old rivals Peterborough beckons this Saturday. It is a reflection of how far the Club has come as two years ago we were playing their 6ths. This year it’s the 3rds. That at least guarantees a decent start time rather than 530 in the morning or 630 at night. Teas will almost certainly be jacket potatoes from a cardboard box, just more than luke warm beans and some grated cheese.
We have been reminded not to wee in the corner of the pitch. Not that anyone did.
Pub of choice on the way back is looking like the Tap & Kitchen in Oundle or the Royal Oak at Duddington.
Kettering will be looking to get a W on the board after a poor performance at Dereham. Peterborough lost to Bury on Saturday. Kettering choose from a fullest squad but Pywell is still recuperating.
