Match Preview

Another new team visit Kettering on Saturday as we face Long Sutton. The clubs have managed to avoid each other for two years at both 1st and 2nd team level but this year we play LS at both levels.
Long Sutton should be well rested after their game last week was postponed whilst Kettering stumbled to a 2-1 defeat at Peterborough 3rds. LS were postponed against Bury so there is no form guide for this game. Their 2nds have started well and currently lead our 2s by gal difference.
This has the look of a must win game about it. Kettering will be without Carlin ( wedding) and Pywell (recuperation). It's a 230 start at BSS and support would be most welcome.
Long Sutton is a slightly smaller club that Kettering, running 4 mens and two ladies teams. They obviously have ambitions though as they are saving up for a replacement pitch. As of today they are only 213K short so there's a lot more car washing to do yet!!
