Kettering produced their most comprehensive performance of the season against Long Sutton at fortress Bishop Stopford but that appears to have kick started Long Sutton's season. Since then they have shown excellent form, winning 6, drawing one and losing three. They have beaten both Nomads and Bury in recent weeks. Kettering will need to be at their best if they are to replicate the 7-1 home result when they travel to the fens. Kettering have been playing well but results have just not fallen for them. More hard work at training will hopefully get them back on track and moving up the table. Skipper Grant Carlin has a couple of players unavailable for the trip but expects a strong squad to travel and bring back the three points. Long Sutton's match reports emphasise their youth but Kettering's side is probably even younger overall so their achievements this season are to be admired and a building block for next season.
