With Kettering still not entirely free from worries at the bottom of the table they travel to already promoted Cambridge South on Saturday. This is a no pressure game for Kettering but they will be looking to give a good account of themselves and show the league why they will be a force to be reckoned with next season. South won the earlier encounter 2-0, becoming one of only a handful of teams to lower Kettering’s colours in the league at home in the last three seasons (three to be precise). South were good value for the win in Kettering but were complimentary about their hosts who had a few players missing and can certainly step up again. Kettering are on a four game unbeaten streak and will be travelling with confidence. South is one of the more atmospheric places to play as there is usually a big, vocal home crowd and they will be keen to cheer home their first promotion to Div 1. Kettering will be looking to rain on their parade. Skipper Grant selects from a full squad although coach Sellers will be our lone spectator as he recovers from a back twinge.
