Kettering 2s came into this their second league game hoping to continue from the strong effort of the first game. The first half was an up and down show. The ball went from one end to the other, each team pressing the opposition but not getting a goal. Kettering were riding their luck a little with a few of those chances. However about 20 minutes in Nuneaton fired the ball into the D and a deflection in front of the keeper resulted in them going 1-0 up. Not long after Kettering had a great chance to draw level when Andy Bull found himself one on one with the Nuneaton goalie, unfortunately his running shot went just wide. The second half however was a different story. Kettering found themselves struggling to put together a set of passes and put Nuneaton under pressure and thus Nuneaton seemed to just romp away scoring 4 times over the 35 minutes to win 5-0.
