Kettering back on form!

Kettering woke to a cold chilly day but the pitch was defrosted by pushback and made way for a cracking performance from Kettering. After lasts weeks tough game hopes were high to rectify a last minute slip up last these two teams met. From the start Kettering showed dominance and supreme passing play with great attacking potential. James Hogg and Archie Colwill made their debut performances for the 2nd team and show outstanding potential.

Ketterings first goal came from a great team performance transferring the Ball through multiple players to finish with Matt Hill on the P spot slapping it home to put Kettering in the lead. The team continued to play great hockey and solid input from all players saw half time blown with the home side still in the lead.

Second half was much the same with Kettering dominating. One stand out defensive moment was geoff elliots reverse pick in the air to prevent an opposition goal. Kettering pushed hard and responded with another goal. Well worked from open play finishing with Jack bridges taking the shot and saved by the keeper but picked out from under him Jack saw it into the net to put Kettering 2-0 up. Kettering had many chances but couldn't quite finish them in style but all round a great team effort and game.

Man of the match was a unanimous decision of all votes to Archie Colwill who played a fantastic first game for Kettering 2's totally owning the right half of the defense.

Next weekend is a long distance traveller to Louth sports hope Kettering can continue this form.
