6-0 loss to Kettering

Despite a good performance, Kettering couldn't stop Nuneaton running riot on Saturday, with the hosts going 3-0 up in the first half due to a series of defensive lapses. The second was a completely different story. After attack and attack neither team could score the first goal of the half. A fantastic short corner, drag-flicked into the top right corner, gave Nuneaton their fourth goal. Nigel Parkes was star-man in the Kettering defence but was helpless and blameless when it came to the 5th and then the 6th and final goal for Nuneaton. Overall a deserved loss to a better team.
