Following a grant application Kettering Hockey Club are delighted to announce that we have been successful in securing a £1500 Grant from Mick George Sports Award in partnership with Northamptonshire Sport.

We applied for pitch dividers as they can be use to make very small junior pitches as well as making training more manageable. It also saves chasing the ball in practices. When we moved to Bishop Stopford this was on our wish list but the cost proved too prohibitive. Now thanks to this Grant we can buy them with only a small use of Club funds to make up any shortfall.

With the small goals our very young players (and adults) can play on a mini pitch were the ball is constantly in play.
