Can’t bear to be without hockey over the summer, don’t worry Summer league is back and this year we are going to enter two teams. (13+, although we can take the odd 12 if the opposition agree) The games will be held at Moulton College, Monday to Thursday evenings, running for 10weeks from 15th May. Early game slot is 7pm – 8:15pm, late slot is 8:15pm – 9:30pm. If you have not finished the early game by 8:15pm, you will just have to leave the pitch. The slot allows for a 5 minute warm up, 5 minute half time. Also we need you to stick to the timings promptly. It is summer league after all, not the FIH finals, so we do not need a massive warm up!

The rules are the same as last year. 5 female outfield players on the pitch at any one time. A league is normal EH rules however traditionally ladies strike first on PCs. B league rules can be set by the team captains on the day, but usually have no tomahawks and Ladies strike first . Both Kettering teams will be in the lower B League.

Skymoons will still be ran by Pam and the other Kettering team will be ran by Stu Mitchell and Beth Williams. There will be some cross over depending on availability etc. if you want to join please message one of us.
