Kettering Ladies 2s 2–1 Leicester Ladies 2s
The first game of the season saw Kettering needing to get themselves up to speed, but they settled into the game well.
An early goal from Evie gave Kettering the perfect start, and Holly doubled the lead before half time to make it 2–0.
Leicester came back strongly in the second half and pulled a goal back from a short corner, setting up a tense finish.
Kettering held firm to secure a 2–1 victory and start the season with a win!
Next week, Kettering host Saints 3s in another pre-season test before the league campaign gets underway the following week.
