Kettering Ladies 2nds travelled to Ashbourne for an early start and found themselves six goals adrift at half time as Ashbourne fighting to stay in the league came out attacking. Kettering still had the journey in their legs and failed to clear their lines on a number of occasions despite GK Amy March making saves. The second half saw Kettering play far better and they found the back of the net with Kirsty Smith slotting home. They had other chances but were unable to make them count and Ashbourne took hold of the game again scoring twice more to make the final score 8-1.
