I am still so disappointed with yesterday's 2-2 draw against Ely I have resorted to Captain Dean's Truth Social account on X for his take on events.

" When I took over this team I promised to MAKE THE SECONDS GREAT AGAIN!!!! Last time we were in this league we were RELEGATED. That was under LOSER PAUL. I really like Paul, Great guy. BUT A LOSER. He got them down! I have us in THIRD. There has been a massive POINTS INFLATION since I took charge. But I never get ANY CREDIT for this. This SECOND TEAM is now the HOTTEST and MOST RESPECTED team in the EAST(ern HEMISPHERE). FACT.
ELY tried to invade yesterday. STRONG TEAM - holding everyone up in the LEAGUE. Wore DARK GREEN to our DARK BLUE - hard to see who was who in the SUN . POOR CHOICE - should've be WHITE. The Dark Green should be deported. The game yesterday was 2-2. FAKE NEWS. The COUNTING should have been STOPPED at 2-0. Kettering had enough chances to WIN WIN WIN. The RESULT was clearly RIGGED. I have decreed it a WIN for THE SECONDS. I have taken the opportunity to rename the DEPARTMENT of DEFENCE, because we didn't do very much defending in the second half to THE DEPARTMENT OF SCORE with a new SECRETARY of SCORE. It's TATTY - GREAT GUY - scored a goal early on. WE launched a lightning COUNTER ATTACK and scored through KETHAN.
In the second half we had too many nICE players who let Ely boss bits of the game. They had a PENALTY - FAKE TACKLE - converted- then a deflected goal. Our Dept of SCORE then stopped scoring. Ely butchered a couple of three on ones and could have nicked a win.
MILLS B released THE FILES after the game and THE SECONDS voted on their performance.
Next week we will TAKE CAMBRIDGE - it is a vital stopping point on our EASTERN FLANK. They want to be part of KETTERING. The COKE in Cambridge is too EXPENSIVE. I will bring back AFFORDABILITY.
