3 men down due to unusual cow-related trouble, Derwent would've thought their cause hopeless as they turned up at Kettering's home turf. Alas that was not the case.
The game started with equal possession from both teams but a short corner fell to 8-man Derwent proved to be Kettering's undoing as a save from the keeper was rebounded over the line. The steaks had been raised! Thankfully, a similar short corner to Kettering was rolled in by Tony Heath and that left the half time score at 1-1.
An incredibly uneventful second half produced no goals and an "udderly" shocking performance by Kettering that Derwent milked for all it was worth.
